The band's material consists of rock, blues and soul covers with occasional indie and modern tracks thrown in.  Available for weddings, private functions and general pub, club gigs.

BAND MEMBERS

Karen Gilmore (lead vocal) is a freelance solo act as well as lead vocal with Swansong. She has been in the entertainment business for 16 years, working with countless band line-ups, before turning professional. She is predominently the band's promoter, web designer and publicist (every band has to have one!).

Wayne Bennett (lead/rhythm guitar) is a very experienced player who also writes music for soundtracks, and has had some success with some contemporary pieces having being accepted for Cannes Film Festival. He is currently working with professional musicians, putting together various music scores (having penned all the music parts himself) and his collaboration with quartets and classical music is yet another string to his bow (no pun intended).

Jon Evers (drummer) is a what we call an "all round", very versatile musician who plays guitar, keyboards, drums (of course), sings both lead and harmony, has a wicked sense of humour and is a genuinely nice bloke! His past gigs have been mainly solo, as well as depping for musicians in various roles as required.

Nigel Smith (bass) is the 'rock' of the band, organising the lighting and sound for gigs.  He has being playing in bands since the 1970s, writes his own songs, plays keyboards, acoustic guitar and is a very keen music recording enthusiast having put together some of the bands' first demo tracks.
