A blues line-up that lasted for six years which I thoroughly enjoyed being part of. We delivered songs by Little Walter, Eric Clapton and Elmore James, songs which I admit I had never heard of before my work with this band.  We played  countrywide as a pub band, playing the occasional corporate bash - the whole experience was a hoot! The band disbanded in 2000.  Steve Cosgrove moved on to become the main man in Wilie Brown's Rhythm Method which are no longer, but Steve still plays blues to audiences of Sheffield and beyond either solo or with bands. Wayne Meakin left Blues 'n Graized in 1998, when Lol Higgins took over on drums.  Wayne is a very experienced musician, who now drums for the Stoned Angels (arguably the best Rolling Stones tribute band around).

Keith Rushon, myself, Nigel Smith and Lol Higgins went on to form the Karen Gilmore Band, together with Barry Burrows on bass, putting Nigel on keys and acoustic guitar.  We were a country band who played for a couple of years - showcasing, gigging in various towns and cities of the nation and then disbanded in 2002. Keith Rushton retired, Barry Burrows now plays in the Harry Coffey Band.

Swansong formed in January 2009.  As a group of friends who have played professionally in previous band line-ups, we got together to 'do what we do best'. We are predominently a rock covers band, but have added a little R & B, soul and blues to our set list with the intention of pleasing most musical tastes.  Already in our second year, we have played some lucrative venues and have many gigs to keep us busy up until the autumn.
